things we are good at

Providing safe, supportive accommodation for young people, with a strong focus on stability, wellbeing, and personal growth. We offer structured support in a caring environment, helping young people build independence, confidence, and a positive pathway forward.

Emergency Placements

Nevaeh Homes provide emergency placements for looked after children and young people due to a young person being in urgent need of an appropriate place to live to ensure their safety and welfare. In some cases, the usual planning and/or thorough assessment process may not have already taken place yet, but a placement is needed for the young person immediately.

Emergency Short Stay

Nevaeh Homes provide short stay placements for young people who may need somewhere to live sometimes at short notice, but mainly for a short space of time.

This could be that they are in need of a placement but are close to their 18th birthday or many other factors

Outreach Floating Support

Nevaeh’s Outreach support package, offering a high level of support to young people and adults out in the community.

Outreach support in the community

Nevaeh Homes provide emergency outreach support to looked after children and young people on an urgent basis out in the community until the appropriate placement or support can be sourced for a young person to ensure their safety and welfare

Tailored Packages

Nevaeh’s Foundation Package provides a consistent, standard level of support for all young people, delivering up to 5 support hours per week with tailored onsite staffing models. The focus is on promoting safety, wellbeing, and independence through regular safe and well checks, support to access healthcare services and appointments, and guidance to engage positively in the community and use local services such as banks and libraries.

Young people are supported with daily living skills including personal hygiene, budgeting, maintaining a clean home, food shopping and meal preparation, as well as tenancy sustainment. The package also encourages participation in education, training, employment, leisure, and family contact, while providing targeted support to reduce substance misuse, self-harm behaviours, and risks linked to exploitation, alongside completion of the Precious, Treasured and Unified Mentoring Programme.

Nevaeh’s Tier One Package provides an enhanced level of support, delivering up to 20 support hours per week with tailored onsite staffing models, and includes all elements of the Foundation Package in addition to more intensive oversight and intervention. The focus remains on promoting safety, wellbeing, and independence through regular safe and well checks, support to access healthcare and community services, and guidance with daily living skills such as hygiene, budgeting, maintaining a safe home, food preparation, tenancy sustainment, and engagement in education, training, employment, leisure, and family contact.

Tier One also introduces more targeted and specialist support, including administering and managing finances, court support and advocacy, access to counselling, and signposting to therapeutic services. Young people complete the Precious, Treasured and Unified Mentoring Programme, alongside exploitation-focused safety planning and risk assessment, with additional support to reduce substance misuse and self-harm behaviours, ensuring a higher level of structured intervention and safeguarding.

Nevaeh’s Tier Two Package provides a significantly higher level of supervision through a 1:1 staffing ratio with tailored onsite staffing models up to 24 hours a day, in addition to all elements of the Foundation Package. This level of support is designed for young people who require close monitoring and intensive guidance, including a high level of supervision when out in the community to promote safety, manage risk, and support positive engagement in daily activities and routines
